TNP LIVE 07/02/2024 Monologue

They say it takes ten thousand hours to master something. That's quite a lot of time to spend in one's life. That's almost one and a quarter years if you did it consecutively and even Keith Richards wouldn't attempt that. So because we all have to sleep sometime, as well as many other activities, mastery is hard to achieve. It takes patience, a understanding of one's capabilities and talents, and maybe the right situation in life.

Talking, as I am now to a live audience is something people attempt to master. Some get nervous, others freeze up, and speaking in public is feared worse than death according to some surveys. I've been doing this since September 11^th, 2021 and I do not consider myself a master at this quite yet. I've been talking shit all my life, and for over 20 years now with the help of the internet, and I still don't think I'm anywhere close to mastery. I must've put in ten thousand hours by now, I guess what “they” say is bullshit then right?

Well, communication might be a different animal to be fair. We all struggle at times to get our thoughts conveyed into the brains of others. Sometimes it's on the listener if the interpretation is missed for sure but all people, no matter how skilled at expressing themselves, fuck up every now and then. So what happens when a master at something as intricate as health explains something wrong?

I guess it depends on who's listening and what they intend to do with the information? And because that's the case, maybe we should all take pause before acting on the words of a master or expert next time we're presented with one?

I for one communicated to others a few years ago that you can't get Covid twice because of natural immunity. I made that claim based on what the most published Cardiologist in the world said. Someone pretty much everyone would agree, at least on paper back then, who was a master in their field. I believe now after having many unvaccinated and vaccinated friends having told me that they have became ill with the symptoms of Covid that I was wrong and so was this expert.

This expert was presented to me and many others as a foil to Dr. Fauci and instinctively a lot of us took to the side of and have defended this person throughout the past few years. Tonight, we'll be talking about that expert and others like him.

There really are no masters or experts, it's all just a matter of perception. Let's shatter some of those perceptions and look for new ways of understanding and communication and maybe we won't be so wrong next time?
