TNP LIVE 10/22/2024 Monologue

In the immortal words of Leo Getz, “They fuck you at the drive-thru!”

And in today's drive-thru world, that most important lesson has been lost on the masses. And who can blame them?

It's soo hard to resist the bright lights and colors on the roadway. There's low-cal options even if you're watching your figure and the comfort food for when you just want to indulge. And who doesn't deserve that after a long week of work for another corporation that's partially owned by Black Rock or some shit?

This is the world we live in, and these are the hamburgers we've been given. This is what Johnny got his gun and lost all his limbs for. So you don't have to worry about having to grow and make food, the assembly line and capitalism are gonna make it for you. But like a lot of what comes in a box from the Oligarchy, you probably don't understand what you're really paying for and how you are really paying for it.

I see no better comparison than having presidential candidates serving customers at a drive-through to what our problems in America truly are. We are children of industry, ripped from a natural womb and placed in a world of conveyor belts. We get whizzed around the American factory of education until we reach a ripeness for the corporate leeches to feed off our labor. We sacrifice our precious moments for pensions and dental benefits. We fight in wars to preserve trade deals to keep the shelves full for Christmas. And when it comes time for us to ask the system to hear us, we give it our order and we drive away with a bag of inedible shit. The sad thing is that we go back to that drive-through every 4 years.

The ignorance in what we eat is an effect of years of propaganda, mostly through television in my generation but now it's the commercials on the free mobile games and streaming services. Selling us cereal that has more dye in it than the collective hair of the women from The View, live studio audience included. And it's fine that it's not in what they sell in Europe because they're a bunch of pussies anyway, that always need our men to bail them out in a fight. Shame our men have been raised on micro-plastic filled chicken gonads and Squirt, now they couldn't rape a village full of women and children for freedom, because of their low testosterone. We're just gonna have to let the robots do it.

And that's the end goal here anyway. The use for us has dwindled, we're poisoned meat that's been left out on the counter overnight and AI and automation are that new semi-real beef sliders that they're advertising at the gas station. Maybe the aliens will go dumpster diving for a new population...and not eat us?
